Kristine Kreska is an Emmy juror, award-winning screenplay writer, award-winning SFX makeup artist, festival juror, and film distribution panelist. She is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmys Pacific Southwest Chapter), and a juror for the Cinequest Film Festival. 

Kreska's screenplay "Visceral" won the prestigious Catalina Film Festival Screenplay Competition in 2022. (Top 50 festivals per Movie Maker Magazine.)

She has produced films, including DECEIVED, DON’T LOOK BACK, THE TRUTH ABOUT FILM SCHOOL, TATTOO TALES, and THE CURSE OF DA LINZER.

Ms. Kreska studied Scandinavian Film and Television at the University of Copenhagen and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Oakland University where she studied management information systems, marketing, and organizational behavior. Her internship was at Ducker Worldwide where she worked with companies such as Dupont, Motorola, and General Motors evaluating consumer research studies as a programmer. She is also a graduate of Cinema Makeup School with a specialty in character design, SFX injuries, and fashion. 

Kristine Kreska has been working in the entertainment industry for more than two decades. She began her career at Winstar Communications (formerly known as Fox Lorber, Winstar Home Entertainment, and Wellspring Media).

 

In 2001, Winstar was sold to IDT Telecommunications and Ms. Kreska joined Bank of the West, a BNP company, as an Assistant Vice President in the Human Resources Group in Los Angeles. In this time she has served as a senior recruiter for Bank of the West's business banking divisions including syndications, compliance, wealth management, real estate, Pacific Rim trade finance, and credit risk during the mergers of United Financial of Japan, Sanwa Bank, Tokai Bank/Toyo Trust & Banking Co., United California Bank, and BNP Paribas.

In 2004, a key art award-winning marketing agency, B.D. Fox & Friends, Inc., recruited Kristine for their Los Angeles office. As a Vice President, she was servicing the largest film sales agencies and film distributors in the United States. Her experience as an account manager was instrumental in establishing a film sales division overseeing all aspects of acquisition, key art, movie trailers, and international sales. After the retirement and sale of B.D. Fox in 2007, switched her focus to consulting for independent films as a producer. Ms. Kreska has also consulted with other producers on how to make their films more accessible to audiences through script development, sales projections, festival submissions, and distribution deals.

Kristine was honored with eleven festival nominations/awards in 2018/2019 for her SFX makeup work on Don’t Look Back written by Jeff Howard (known for Midnight Mass, Haunting of Hill House, Oculus, Gerald’s Game). She was honored with the Leonard Engelman Fellowship award in 2013. Visceral screenplay won the 2022 Catalina Film Festival Best Screenplay Award.
